Brothers,
As we prepare for the holiday season, we’re thrilled to present the first issue of the Nu Prime Chapter’s Alumni Newsletter! This initiative aims to keep you connected and informed about the latest chapter updates, alumni achievements, and upcoming events.
Each month, we’ll share news and highlights from our chapter and alumni, spotlighting successes, contributions, and stories that strengthen the ties of brotherhood across generations.
We look forward to reconnecting and celebrating the legacy of Kappa Sigma Nu Prime together.
Chapter Updates
Tailgate Success on Center Street
This fall, the Kappa Sigma tailgate on Center Street has become a standout event, offering the best atmosphere on game days. With high-energy vibes, great music, and the camaraderie of brothers and friends, it’s the ultimate gathering spot for Hokies!
Join us for future tailgates and reconnect with brothers who paved the way.
Welcoming the Phi Pledge Class
We are thrilled to welcome 10 outstanding new brothers into the Nu Prime family. Their energy and dedication already reflect the values of Kappa Sigma, and we look forward to seeing them grow and strengthen our chapter.
Looking to the Future
As we continue to grow, we are actively searching for a permanent chapter house to solidify our presence and establish a lasting legacy for Nu Prime at Virginia Tech.
Philanthropy and Volunteering
Community Volunteering
Our brothers recently lent a helping hand in Damascus, VA, contributing their time and efforts to repair a damaged stone retention wall and clear debris. Their dedication to serving the community strengthens the chapter’s bond and gives back to those in need.
Military Heroes Campaign
Our efforts to support veterans through the Military Heroes Campaign continue to make an impact. This past month, we raised over $3,500 through various fundraising events, including a street concert featuring 81 Traffic.
Brother of the Month: John Porter
Congratulations to John Porter, this month’s honoree! A junior from Arlington, VA, studying Environmental Science, John has shown exceptional leadership and organizational skills as Brotherhood Chair.
From leading a successful rush season to organizing the recent “Fratsgiving” event, John’s contributions have brought brothers closer together. Thank you, John, for your dedication to Nu Prime!
