The time has come to reunite, reminisce, and celebrate Nu Prime’s legacy! We are excited to invite you to the 2025 Nu Prime Alumni Reunion, which will take place in Blacksburg, VA, from June 5 to 8, 2025.
This year’s reunion is extra special as we mark 150 years since our chapter was founded in 1874. While our main focus is reconnecting with brothers and enjoying an incredible weekend together, this milestone serves as an important reminder of the rich history and lasting bonds that have made Nu Prime what it is today.
Our reunion also coincides with Virginia Tech’s Alumni Weekend, giving us the opportunity to participate in university-wide events while still enjoying exclusive Nu Prime gatherings. Whether you choose to attend Hokie-hosted activities or focus on reconnecting with brothers, the weekend promises to be filled with laughter, camaraderie, and unforgettable memories.
Nu Prime Alumni Reunion Schedule
Thursday, June 5 – Early Arrivals & Warm Welcome
- VT Alumni Check-in (Holtzman Alumni Center) – All weekend
- Nu Prime Early Arrivals Meet-Up – Casual gathering at a local bar (TBD)
- Optional VT Event: Summer Gallery Opening Reception (5-7 p.m., Moss Arts Center)
Friday, June 6 – Golf, Food & Brotherhood
- Nu Prime Golf Outing – Morning tee times at Blacksburg Country Club
- Optional VT Events: Continental Breakfast & Speaker Sessions (8-11:15 a.m.)
- Taste of Virginia Festival (3-6 p.m., Holtzman Alumni Center) – Food, wine, and beer from across Virginia
- Nu Prime Gathering at the University Club (6-8 p.m.) – Exclusive event for Nu Prime alumni
- Optional VT Events: Young Alumni Happy Hour (6-8 p.m., Sharkey’s Rooftop) & Downtown Takeover (8 p.m.-Midnight)
Saturday, June 7 – Adventure, Beer & Fireworks
- Nu Prime Outdoor Adventures – Choose between tubing, hiking, or a campus tour (9-11 a.m.)
- Optional VT Event: Coffee & Community Breakfast (9:30-10:45 a.m., Squires Student Center)
- Optional VT Event: Presidential Town Hall (11-11:45 a.m., Moss Arts Center)
- Nu Prime Brewery Social (1-4 p.m., Eastern Divide or Rising Silo Brewery) – Live music & drinks
- Optional VT Event: VT Beer Lab Tours (2-4 p.m.)
- Dinner on the Drillfield & Fireworks (6:30-10:30 p.m.) – Celebrate with Hokie alumni & live music
Sunday, June 8 – Farewell & Final Toasts
- Nu Prime Farewell Breakfast (9-10 a.m., Local Restaurant, TBD)
- Optional VT Event: Farewell Brunch with Athletics (9:30-11 a.m., TBD)
Lodging & Registration Information
Since this is a major alumni weekend and we are celebrating Nu Prime’s 150th anniversary, we encourage early reservations! Room blocks for Alumni Weekend expire approximately a month before the event, make your reservations by April 30, 2025.
Virginia Tech Alumni Weekend Registration (Required for VT Events)
To attend Virginia Tech-hosted activities (Taste of Virginia Festival, Dinner on the Drillfield, etc.), you must register for Alumni Weekend.
Registration Pricing:
- Full Registration (Early Bird, until March 31): $175
- Full Registration (April-June): $225
- Friday-Only Registration: $95
- Saturday/Sunday Registration: $130
- Young Alumni (2015-2025) Registration: $130
- Kids (ages 6-17): $60 (full), $40 (Sat/Sun), Free for ages 5 and under
A Reunion 150 Years in the Making!
While this reunion is all about brotherhood and making new memories, it also serves as a milestone event marking 150 years since the founding of Nu Prime in 1874.
